Giddings, Texas-based LF Manufacturing (LFM) is proud to announce that the company’s Bul-TufTM line of fiberglass livestock and wildlife watering tanks has received approval for statewide use from the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Services (NRCS) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). Following an application and review process by the state, LFM’s Bul-TufTM troughs and tanks were certified as being in compliance with the standards and specifications outlined within NRCS Conservation Practice Standard 614, watering facilities. We also have verbal approval for Oklahoma NRCS standards.
With this designation, Bul-TufTM tanks are now officially listed as fit for the purpose of storing or providing designated access to drinking water for livestock or wildlife to:
- supply daily water requirements,
- improve animal distribution, and
- provide a water source that is an alternative to a sensitive resource.
LFM’s Bul-TufTM livestock and wildlife tanks can now be confidently specified for all land uses where there is a need for a watering facility for livestock or wildlife, where there is a source of water that is adequate in quantity and quality for the purpose, and where soils and topography are suitable for a watering facility.
As with all of LFM’s fiberglass products, the Bul-TufTM line is available in both standard and custom configurations, and can be designed, manufactured, and delivered to your site according to the specifications of your particular project.
