LFM has a long history of working with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to expand their manufacturing capacity and capabilities or to develop new products or line extensions. A vital part of this process is the fabrication of molds for FRP fabrication. To serve this need, LFM maintains a complete staff of highly skilled mold fabricators located across the U.S.
Our in-house engineering and design staff can provide you with the answers needed to move your project from concept to reality. Product design is provided in accordance with widely accepted standards including ASTM, ASME, API and NBS PS 15-69.
To aid in visualizing your design, LFM can provide computer-aided design & drafting (CADD) detail drawings. The detail drawings prepared by our CADD designers are formatted using AutoCAD©.
Our national network of regional managers, sales representatives and distributors are ready to assist in providing support to local industry and municipalities, design consultants and installing contractors. This network is available to provide technical presentations, design assistance, pricing options and installation assistance when and where needed.
Where project take-offs and quotations are required, LFM provides specialists in wastewater manholes & wetwells, chemical storage tanks, oilfield tanks, scrubbers, process vessels and piping systems. When you’re ready to place your order into production, a project manager will be assigned to your project to coordinate the preparation of shop drawings, schedule production and arrange for delivery of your structures directly to your jobsite.
At times, construction projects may require installation assistance or retrofit services where structural changes are needed after delivery. LFM offers experienced field service technicians well versed in all aspects of FRP installation and fabrication. And, should repair services be required, our field service trucks carry all the supplies and tools necessary to address most situations. Where aging FRP structures, such as chemical storage tanks or process vessels, are in need of inspection, rehabilitation or relining, our field service crews are well experienced in this arena. LFM’s field service technicians are trained in OSHA confined space safety procedures and, where required, TWIC-certified field technicians are available.
Once manufacturing and inspection of your new fiberglass structure is complete, our transportation department will arrange of safe, on-time delivery. Our drivers are professionals who understand the importance and demands of your schedule.
