LFM Gun Barrel Oil / Water Separators

LFM manufactures quality gun barrel oil / water separators. Our fiberglass gun barrels are fabricated to meet your required dimensions, and like all LFM products are available with a full line of fittings and accessories. We build our gun barrel tanks to API 12-P specifications in a wide variety of standard sizes and diameters. As always, custom designs are welcome, and we also provide a full range of accessories and fittings.

Skim Tanks, Water Legs, and De-Sanders

LFM offers a complete line of fiberglass Water Legs and Skim Tanks to match our Gun Barrels. We have the most experienced team in the business when it comes to designing and building Gun Barrels, Skim Tanks and Water Legs. We do our best to keep standard equipment on the ground and ready at a moments notice.

LFM’s fiberglass tanks present an outstanding value when compared to steel tanks. Our tanks have a longer service life than tanks fabricated from other materials, which translates into replacement cost savings. Additionally, our high-quality, one-piece tanks weigh approximately 60% less than steel tanks, making installation and site transfer easier and less expensive.

Grounding Solutions and Lightning Protection

LFM understands that static discharge is a tank issue, not a fiberglass issue. All tanks in the oilfield – steel, internally coated steel, and fiberglass – are subject to static current imbalance without proper grounding. As such, any tank of any composition can be struck by lightning without proper lightning protection to overcome static electricity. We offer simple grounding solutions for all of our oilfield tanks. And remember, even when including the nominal cost for proper grounding and lightning protection, fiberglass tanks cost 10 to 20 percent less than other options.

Strong & Lasting Construction

Our fiberglass gun barrel tanks are engineered for the specific service conditions required by our customers. LFM builds fiberglass tanks to provide a long and trouble-free service life. We maintain individual inspection reports for each tank, recording such information as resin system used, actual material usage, fittings, accessories, and delivery destination. The inspection reports are filed for future reference and copies are available upon request. Our excellent inspection program assures that each of our customers receives the highest quality fiberglass products available.
