LFM provides fiberglass containment sumps to meet virtually any operational need. We manufacture quality fiberglass sumps that allow you to collect liquids in an environmentally safe manner. Our fiberglass sumps are chemical and corrosion resistant, and can be provided with fire retardant, as required.

LFM manufactures a wide range of double-wall buried sumps. All sumps are custom built, and diameter and depth can be modified to meet capacity requirements. LFM builds our double wall sumps with an open annular space between the inner and outer wall to accommodate various types of leak detection equipment. We have a wide range of tooling to accommodate many size options.

We offer the sumps with and without bolt-on removable covers. Fiberglass covers are custom built to required fitting options. If preferred, many customers pair our sumps with steel covers that can be bolted to the included 3” wide top flange. LFM’s sumps include an anti-flotation flange around the bottom of the sump to prevent floating once the basin is buried.

LFM’s fiberglass sumps present an outstanding value when compared to steel or concrete sumps. Our products have a longer service life than similar products fabricated from other materials, which translates into replacement cost savings. Additionally, our high-quality, one-piece sumps weigh approximately 60% less than steel sumps, making installation and site transfer easier and less expensive.

Our fiberglass sumps are engineered for the specific service conditions required by our customers. LFM builds fiberglass sumps to provide a long and trouble-free service life. Our sumps are built to meet or exceed the strict industry requirements to assure our customers of the highest structural integrity, durability, and corrosive resistance. We maintain individual inspection reports for each sump, recording such information as resin system used, actual material usage, fittings, accessories, and delivery destination. The inspection reports are filed for future reference and copies are available upon request. Our excellent inspection program assures that each of our customers receives the highest quality fiberglass products available.

LFM has its own fleet of delivery trucks specifically equipped to transport fiberglass sumps. We employ a professional delivery staff whose primary goal is to provide safe and courteous on-time delivery of our products to our valued customers.
